Above are a few sample itineraries — each can be booked as shown or adjusted to fit what you’re after. You’ll also find an interactive map of the hotels we recommend across Costa Rica: properties our team has visited in person and worked with directly for years, from isolated beach retreats to hillside lodges in the cloud forest. Select any hotel to see more, or add it straight to your trip request.

What sets these apart is the relationships behind them — direct contact with hotel owners and managers built up over 25 years, not a booking-platform listing. That means better rates, room upgrades when they’re available, and an honest heads-up when a property isn’t right for what you’re looking for. Every hotel on this list has been vetted in person by someone on our team.

CRS Tours has been arranging trips in Costa Rica since 1999. If you’d rather skip the research and have someone who knows the country build your itinerary, that’s exactly what we do — reach out and tell us what you’re picturing.
