Following the orchid tour, enjoy a cultural immersion as you stroll through the town. Visit Doña Olga’s Pulpería, a traditional Costa Rican general store, where you can engage with the locals, try hand-palmed tortillas, and indulge in homemade pastries, experiencing the community’s warm hospitality firsthand.

Travel through the scenic Northern Plains to the Arenal Volcano area, a landscape dominated by the towering volcano itself. This region is a hub for adventure seekers and nature lovers alike. The Arenal Volcano National Park offers lush rainforest, an array of wildlife, and myriad outdoor activities ranging from hiking and horseback riding to zip-lining and hot springs.

The tour through the reserve not only educates about the past but also shows the efforts made to preserve their culture. You’ll participate in traditional activities, including archery, and enjoy performances that showcase the Maleku’s rich heritage.

Next, you’ll move to Bagaces, known for its natural thermal rivers and proximity to several national parks, including Rincón de la Vieja and Palo Verde. The region is perfect for those looking to escape the more tourist-heavy areas and immerse themselves in nature.

You’ll then travel to Santa Teresa, a laid-back beach town famous for its surf waves and stunning sunsets. It attracts a vibrant, youthful crowd, including celebrities and nature lovers. Santa Teresa is a booming new travel destination in Costa Rica, attracting beach lovers and surfers to its broad, white-sand beaches with world-class surf.  Health-oriented spas, organic restaurants, and yoga classes are also attracting a very international, young crowd. Once we get to the paradisiacal TORTUGA ISLAND we will anchor our boat next to the best points for snorkeling. The volcanic rock reef is surrounded by crystalline waters and home of Angelfish, Porcupinefish, Morays, Needlefish, Spotted Eagle Rays, and many more tropical beauties that will make it for you an extraordinary snorkel experience.

After the amazing snorkeling experience, our captain will take you to the wonderful white sand beach of Tortuga Island where drinks and fruits will be waiting for while the lunch is ready. After lunch, the afternoon will be yours to enjoy. You can go for a hike, a swim, rent a kayak, a banana boat, take a little “siesta”, or just chill at the beach.
