Nayara Springs is one of the few properties near Arenal Volcano where every villa has its own private plunge pool fed by natural hot springs, set inside rainforest with a clear volcano view from many rooms. It’s an adults-oriented sister property to the larger Nayara Resort next door, and the level of privacy — no shared pool deck, each villa self-contained — is what sets it apart from most Arenal hotels.
The volcano and its surrounding rainforest still drive most of what you’d do here: a guided night walk to spot frogs, insects, and nocturnal wildlife, the hanging bridges at nearby Mistico Park, and La Fortuna Waterfall for those who want an active day out. Many guests, though, spend a full day or two simply not leaving their villa’s plunge pool — the design of the property makes that a legitimate option.
Three nights is typical, often as the volcano-and-rainforest leg of a longer trip that continues to the beach.
