Each and every room boasts a Jacuzzi tub and impressive river stone fireplace along with waterfall showers. From the handcrafted canopy beds and love seats to the original stained glass and illustrated artwork you will understand the time and care put into the details of each accommodation.

All guests are welcome to enjoy the park before it opens and after it closes, the optimal bird watching and wildlife viewing times. The Lodge is a great option as a bird watching hotel in the greater San José area because the rain forest literally surrounds the hotel and have many “hard to see” species visit our feeders.

Vista Poas is the guests’ favorite intimate fine dining restaurant showcasing traditional locally-inspired Costa Rican flavors. Guests also are invited to join us at Las Tucas Bar for a pre-dinner drink, game of backgammon, or read from our lending library. Begin your day with a gourmet breakfast featuring warm aromas of fresh brewed locally roasted coffee, fresh seasonal tropical fruits, homemade assorted breads and made to order omlellets, pancakes, french toast, and more!
